The mission of the Network of Indian Professionals is to serve as the organization that meets the needs of all South Asian professionals as they grow in their personal and professional lives. Over the years, NetIP has become a leading international organization for South Asian professionals - one that has been recognized by political, civic, and community leaders around the US. It has become the unequivocal voice for an emerging and confident group of South Asians that are excelling in every aspect of American society, from business to politics to the arts.

The rise of NetIP and its affiliated chapters reflects a general “Coming of Age” by South Asian professionals across the United States. Worldwide, the members of the Network of Indian Professionals are now taking positions of leadership in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. NetIP’s mission is to be more than just an organization, but to be a vehicle used by professionals in the South Asian community to make the world a better place.

NetIP is laying the foundation and creating a group of individuals and a community that will work together for a lifetime. The professionals who are the backbone of NetIP today will be tomorrow’s leaders in business, politics, and civic life. And they will continue to work closely with many of the people they have met through their experiences with NetIP. To that end, NetIP’ mission is to focus on the needs of South Asian professionals in the areas of economic growth and security, cultural awareness and preservation, family needs, and promoting education and learning.  NetIP also strives to provide community and emotional support during times of crisis for the community, such as after the Gujarat earthquake of 2001 and the attacks of September 11, 2001. NetIP believes that creating a strong personal bond between our members will strengthen our community.

In sum, NetIP’s mission is to recruit the best and brightest of the South Asian community to work together within NetIP. We strive to help the Indian community by recruiting experts in health care, banking, education, finance, technology, etc. NetIP believes that our people are our greatest resource, and we strive to work with everyone in our community and provide a platform for working on the opportunities and challenges of society.
